Action Speaks Louder is the bi-annual newsletter of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group at the University of Toronto. We publish articles about social and environmental justice advocacy and activism, with a specific focus on issues that affect members of the campus community.
If you want to work on this radical publication, write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The newsletter committee will begin meeting in late October of 2013 to start work on the Winter 2014 issue of Action Speaks Louder. We are a volunteer collective of students and community members interested in editing, layout and publishing.
If you would rather just write for us, submit a pitch! The submission deadline for pitches for the Winter 2014 issue is Friday October 11th, 2013. Pitches are generally 100-150 words outlining what you intend to cover in the article, what the focus is and it's relevance to current political events/organizing. Write about campaigns you're involved in, or your thoughts on any political or social justice issue. To send us a short pitch, please e-mail email@example.com.
