Action Speaks Louder is the bi-annual newsletter of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group at the University of Toronto. We publish articles about social and environmental justice advocacy and activism, with a specific focus on issues that affect members of the campus community.

If you would rather just write for us, submit a pitch! The submission deadline for pitches for the Fall 2013 issue is Friday May 31st, 2013. Pitches are generally 100-150 words outlining what you intend to cover in the article, what the focus is and it's relevance to current political events/organizing. Write about campaigns you're involved in, or your thoughts on any political or social justice issue. To send us a short pitch, please e-mail actionspeaksloudertoronto@gmail.com.

Articles from our most recent issue, Winter 2013, are available for viewing in the file below, and hard copies are available at our office at 563 Spadina Crescent, room 101. Topics covered in the Winter 2013 issue of Action Speaks Louder include tar sands resistance, reproductive justice and the fight against an anti-choice government, union struggles in the face of austerity and more! Our Fall 2012 issue will also be available online shortly, and covers issues such as prison expansion, police brutality, the Quebec student strike and indigenous solidarity.
